About the Role

EWAA Hotels is seeking a Pastry Chef to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves preparing and producing high-quality pastries, cakes, and desserts, ensuring excellent taste, presentation, and consistency while adhering to hotel quality and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of pastries, cakes, desserts, and baked goods, including traditional Eastern and Western desserts, in line with hotel standards.
• Develop new dessert recipes and maintain high-quality presentation for all items.
• Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and portion control across all pastry products.
• Maintain strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards within the pastry kitchen.
• Monitor inventory levels for ingredients and finished products, working to minimize food waste.
• Manage daily pastry kitchen operations, ensuring timely preparation and delivery of all items.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Pastry Chef, specifically within hotels or the broader hospitality industry.
• Professional knowledge of various pastry techniques, baking processes, and dessert preparation.
• Demonstrated creativity and strong attention to detail in pastry design and execution.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage kitchen operations efficiently.
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure in a dynamic, fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Work Environment

This role is based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and operates on a full-time schedule within a hotel kitchen setting. The Pastry Chef will work as part of a culinary team, contributing to the overall dining experience for hotel guests.
