Role Overview

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Performance Expert to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is critical for monitoring, analyzing, and reporting operational performance across transportation services. The primary objective is to ensure compliance with client requirements and contractual obligations, contributing to the overall efficiency and quality of service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

The Performance Expert works closely with operators, contractors, and various stakeholders. This position involves evaluating service delivery performance, verifying data accuracy, and providing actionable insights to enhance operational efficiency, reliability, customer experience, and overall service quality. Core responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring operational performance against established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), service levels, and contractual obligations.
  • Collecting, validating, and analyzing performance data from operators and service providers.
  • Tracking performance trends and identifying deviations from agreed targets.
  • Supporting the development and implementation of robust performance measurement frameworks.

Performance Analysis and Reporting

This role requires strong analytical capabilities to transform operational data into meaningful business intelligence. Key tasks in this area include:

  • Conducting performance audits and assessments to ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Preparing performance scorecards and benchmarking operational results against industry standards.
  • Supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reviews.
  • Developing and maintaining performance dashboards, reports, and analytical tools.
  • Generating regular performance reports for clients, management, and stakeholders.
  • Consolidating data from multiple sources and presenting actionable insights.
  • Utilizing business intelligence tools to support performance analysis and decision-making.
  • Reviewing operational datasets to ensure data integrity, consistency, and accuracy.

Continuous Improvement and Compliance

The Performance Expert plays a vital role in identifying areas for improvement and ensuring adherence to operational standards. This involves:

  • Identifying operational inefficiencies and recommending improvement initiatives.
  • Conducting root cause analysis for performance issues and recurring service disruptions.
  • Supporting the development and monitoring of corrective and preventive action plans.
  • Assessing the effectiveness of improvement initiatives and recommending further enhancements.
  • Analyzing reliability, availability, maintainability, and operational performance indicators.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement programs aimed at enhancing service quality and operational efficiency.
  • Monitoring operator and contractor compliance with contractual KPIs and service requirements.
  • Ensuring adherence to relevant regulatory, operational, and safety performance standards.

Required Experience and Capabilities

Candidates for this position should possess a strong background in performance management within complex operational environments. Key requirements include:

  • A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in performance management, with a preference for experience within transportation environments.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical capabilities and the ability to transform operational data into meaningful business intelligence.
  • Proficiency in developing and implementing performance measurement frameworks.
  • Experience with business intelligence tools for performance analysis and decision-making.
  • Proven ability to conduct root cause analysis and develop effective corrective action plans.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement

The Performance Expert will engage extensively with various internal and external stakeholders to achieve performance objectives. This includes:

  • Liaising with operators, contractors, and internal departments to resolve performance-related issues.
