Role Overview
This full-time, on-site role involves assisting licensed pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, ensuring prescription accuracy, maintaining inventory levels, and keeping detailed compliance records with hospital regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support licensed pharmacists in daily pharmacy operations.
  • Prepare and label prescriptions accurately.
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels and manage medication supplies.
  • Keep detailed records in accordance with hospital policies and regulations.

Qualifications
  • Experienced in prescription handling and pharmacy procedures.
  • Possess SCFHS license as Pharmacy Technician (required).
  • Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (or equivalent) is preferred.
  • Familiarity with clinical pharmacy settings is an asset.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
  • Proficient in using pharmacy management software.

  • Essential: Knowledge of computers, pharmacy calculations, terminology, and drug classifications.
  • Desirable: Two years of experience in a hospital pharmacy setting.
  • Essential: Diploma in Pharmacy from an accredited institution with a professional registration certificate.
  • Desirable: Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited college.
