As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting pharmacists with preparing and distributing medications, maintaining drug inventory, and managing patient records. Working under the supervision of a registered pharmacist in accordance with the Ministry of Health regulations, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality pharmaceutical services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist pharmacists in filling pharmacy requisitions, prescriptions, and maintaining essential records.
  • Order, receive, unpack, and store pharmaceuticals and supplies correctly.
  • Prepackage tablets and capsules for dispensing and ensure all products are labeled accurately.
  • Participate in bulk manufacturing of pharmaceutical products and operate manufacturing equipment.
  • Prepare intravenous solutions and reconstitute bulk additives as needed.
  • Maintain an inventory of drugs while monitoring expiration dates.
  • Coordinate quality improvement programs within your responsibilities.
  • Engage in patient and family education to enhance understanding of care.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by the Pharmacy Supervisor or Manager.

Requirements:
  • Essential: Knowledge of computers, pharmacy calculations, terminology, and drug classifications.
  • Desirable: Two years of experience in a hospital pharmacy setting.
  • Essential: Diploma in Pharmacy from an accredited institution with a professional registration certificate.
  • Desirable: Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited college.

  • Languages: Fluent in Arabic and [English/Other].

  • Software: Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel is a must for payroll auditing).
