About the PMO Operations Supervisor Role

أروقة الريادة Arweqah Alreyadah is seeking a PMO Operations Supervisor to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves overseeing the daily operations of the Project Management Office (PMO), ensuring operational excellence and efficient execution of all PMO activities.

Role Purpose and Operational Oversight

The PMO Operations Supervisor is responsible for maintaining high standards of project governance and process compliance within the PMO. This includes supervising operational workflows, monitoring team performance, and actively supporting successful project delivery. The role is central to driving continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily PMO operational activities, workflows, and team performance.
  • Monitor operational productivity and ensure timely completion of project and operational deliverables.
  • Ensure compliance with PMO governance, operational policies, procedures, standards, and project management methodologies.
  • Track operational and project KPIs, prepare performance dashboards, and provide regular reports to management.
  • Coordinate with project managers, department heads, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of projects and operational activities.
  • Monitor project schedules, risks, issues, budgets, and resource utilization to support successful project delivery.
  • Identify operational challenges, process bottlenecks, and project risks, implementing corrective and preventive actions as needed.
  • Escalate critical operational issues, risks, and constraints to management when appropriate.
  • Support resource planning, workload allocation, and capacity management across the PMO.
  • Conduct regular operational reviews, project status meetings, and follow-up sessions to ensure progress against plans.
  • Maintain and enhance PMO documentation, templates, project records, and knowledge repositories.
  • Assist in developing, standardizing, and continuously improving PMO operational processes and best practices.
  • Support quality assurance initiatives, governance reviews, and compliance audits.
  • Train, coach, and mentor PMO coordinators and operational team members to enhance performance and capability.
  • Foster collaboration across business units to ensure operational efficiency and successful project execution.

Operational Excellence and Team Development

This position plays a critical role in fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the PMO. The supervisor will be responsible for identifying and addressing operational challenges, streamlining processes, and ensuring that all PMO activities contribute to overall organizational efficiency. A key aspect of the role involves developing PMO team members through training and mentorship, thereby enhancing their capabilities and performance.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in PMO operations or a similar project management environment. A strong understanding of project governance, operational policies, and project management methodologies is required.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires a dedicated presence to manage daily PMO operations and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders.
