About the Role

Boston Consulting Group (BCG) is seeking a Principal in IT/Digital to join BCG Platinion in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. BCG Platinion focuses on delivering digital excellence for clients by providing sustained solutions to complex and time-sensitive challenges. The team guides clients through their digital journeys, aiming to overcome technological limitations and enable greater achievements. As a Principal, you will play a key role in transforming businesses through the innovative and rapid application of technology, with a focus on areas such as Architecture, Cybersecurity, Digital Transformation, Enterprise Application, and Risk functions. This role involves blending strategic vision with a pragmatic approach to implement change and scale leading-edge tech platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with client leadership teams to understand their primary challenges and define IT strategies.
• Secure buy-in for recommendations and lead BCG case team members to translate client potential into performance through impactful assignments.
• Deploy customized IT strategies, digital platforms, and architectures to leverage clients' digital potential and deliver lasting value.
• Evaluate and coach client technology teams, manage quality and risk, and handle client expectations and escalations.
• Provide functional guidance to the project team and assume operational responsibility for the execution and management of solutions.
• Develop convincing IT strategies, concepts, and solutions with clients that create a lasting impact on the organization, operating model, digital, and/or data landscape.
• Manage diverse teams of consulting talent, fostering their growth through thought provocation, mentoring, knowledge sharing, and providing regular feedback.
• Contribute to Practice Area development and strengthen the BCG Platinion brand as a leader in AI and digital.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 8-12+ years of experience in IT consulting or digital transformation.
• Proven experience in the Energy sector, such as Oil & Gas or Petrochemicals.
• A track record in IT transformation delivery.
• Expertise in IT/Digital architecture, cloud, data, and AI topics.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
• An excellent academic degree.
• Excellent English communication skills; Arabic is considered a plus.
