About the Role
Qiddiya is seeking a Procurement Governance & Reporting Specialist to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is central to enhancing the transparency and accountability of procurement activities within the company. The Specialist will play a critical role in establishing and maintaining robust governance frameworks.
Role Purpose
The primary purpose of this role is to ensure that all procurement operations align with organizational policies and regulatory requirements. This involves developing and managing comprehensive reporting systems designed to facilitate effective monitoring of procurement performance and compliance. The Specialist will contribute to fostering a culture of adherence and efficiency across the procurement lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain governance policies and procedures specific to procurement activities.
- Ensure the alignment of procurement processes with local regulations, internal standards, and industry best practices.
- Develop and manage procurement reporting tools and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.
- Prepare and present regular reports on procurement performance metrics, compliance status, and risk assessments to senior management.
- Analyze procurement data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Assist in the auditing of procurement processes to verify adherence to established governance frameworks and legal standards.
- Support the identification and mitigation of procurement-related risks throughout the entire procurement lifecycle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a strong culture of governance and compliance within the procurement department.
- Facilitate training sessions and workshops for procurement staff on governance policies and reporting requirements.
Qualifications and Experience
Candidates for this position should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience. This experience should ideally be within procurement governance, reporting, compliance, or a closely related field. A strong understanding of procurement processes, regulatory frameworks, and data analysis is required to succeed in this role.
