Role Purpose and Impact

The Procurement Officer will be responsible for executing category strategies and sourcing activities. This position requires cross-functional collaboration to optimize spend, enhance supplier performance, and ensure strict adherence to established procurement policies and controls. The role is critical in maintaining efficient and ethical procurement practices within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing activities, including Requests for Quotation (RFQs), managing quotations, and establishing framework agreements.
• Conduct comprehensive technical and commercial evaluations of supplier offers to ensure optimal value and compliance.
• Negotiate commercial terms effectively within delegated authority levels to secure favorable agreements.
• Support category planning initiatives through detailed spend analysis and thorough market research.
• Identify and implement opportunities for cost optimization and supplier consolidation to improve efficiency.
• Manage key supplier relationships and continuously monitor their performance against established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Ensure strict adherence to all company procurement policies, procedures, and ethical standards.

Required Qualifications and Skills

Candidates for this position should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in procurement or a related field. A strong understanding of procurement best practices, negotiation techniques, and supplier management is essential.
