About the Role: Product Specialist, Hematology

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is seeking a Product Specialist, Hematology to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time, commission-based role involves representing the company to healthcare professionals, ensuring products are utilized according to their clinical indications and merit, while upholding the principles of Our Credo. Role Purpose and Contribution

The Product Specialist serves as a key representative for Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine, engaging with healthcare professionals to ensure our hematology products are used appropriately based on their clinical indications and inherent value. This role focuses on promoting registered products within their approved indications, collaborating with other functions to enhance product access and serve eligible patients by effectively detailing product value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maximize patient share for assigned products by understanding patient pathways and ensuring sales processes adhere to J&J compliance, Quality guidelines, and local laws.
  • Engage with enlisted healthcare professionals through a multichannel approach (face-to-face, email, phone calls, presentations) according to CVT strategy, providing quality call feedback for each interaction.
  • Achieve market share targets for the assigned territory.
  • Promote Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine's image as a scientific, transformational digital innovator within assigned accounts and organize promotional/digital scientific meetings.
  • Conduct comprehensive account mapping, including understanding logistical processes, product listing, contracting, stakeholder identification, and decision-making processes.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers and stakeholders within accounts (*, Directors of Pharmacy, Senior Procurement Managers, Tender Managers, Hospital Management).
  • Identify short and long-term business opportunities aligned with the Business Unit strategy, in collaboration with the Market Access team.
  • Fulfill all Customer Interaction Excellence (CIE) index and KPIs within agreed timelines, including database updates, accurate visit reporting with valuable call feedback, correct sample handling, and continuous qualitative performance improvement.
  • Achieve expected results in scientific quizzes organized by the CVT.
  • Attend all assigned training courses, capturing learnings and demonstrating improvement in technical and ethical business practices.
  • Organize assigned activities in compliance with all rules and utilizing the correct CRM system as stipulated in related SOPs.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy.
  • Good understanding of the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Compliance and Ethical Conduct

The Product Specialist is required to strictly comply with all set guidelines, policies, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) of Johnson & Johnson, as well as local regulations. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Adherence to local laws, Healthcare Business Integrity (HCBI) guidelines, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), the Policy of Business Conduct, and other Johnson & Johnson policies.
  • Compliance with Pharmacovigilance rules, including notifying about Adverse Events and Product Quality Complaints within company regulations.
  • Upholding quality and compliance practices in all activities.
  • Observing Global Fleet Safety Standard requirements and local traffic laws.
