Project Controls Data Analyst

About the Role

Parsons Corporation is seeking a Project Controls Data Analyst to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves integrating various project aspects, including engineering, scope, budget, scheduling, procurement, construction, and start-up for small projects. The analyst may also manage subtasks within larger projects or studies, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the technical excellence of project engineering functions, coordinating technical disciplines.
• Support the procurement of materials and equipment.
• Provide assistance with construction planning.
• Relocation to the project site may be required during construction and start-up activities.

Reporting and Dashboard Development

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI.
• Automate recurring project controls reports and performance metrics.
• Produce executive-level reports detailing project status.
• Develop standardized Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for program and portfolio reporting.

Analytical Support

• Analyze project progress trends.
• Support earned value management (EVM) reporting and analysis.
• Provide forecasting support.
• Transform complex datasets into actionable insights for project leadership.
• Identify trends, risks, opportunities, and areas for performance improvement.

Process Improvement and Automation

• Develop automated data extraction, transformation, and reporting solutions.
• Utilize technologies such as Python and SQL to streamline data processing and reporting workflows.
• Improve reporting efficiency through digital tools and innovative analytical techniques.
• Support digital transformation initiatives within Project Controls.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in project controls or data analysis. The role requires a professional who values collaboration and continuous growth within an innovative culture.
