About the Role

Bonafide is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Trophy Tour to lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of an international trophy tour for a major sporting event. This contract role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with international travel required. The project duration is from October 11, 2026, to January 15, 2027.

Role Context and Scope

The Project Manager will oversee the trophy tour from pre-planning through final handover. This involves coordinating multiple international destinations and working closely with football federations, embassies, government entities, venues, suppliers, and local stakeholders. The tour is expected to include destinations such as Riyadh, Tashkent, Tokyo, Jakarta, New Delhi, Al Khobar, and Jeddah, with potential for additional Saudi destinations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the master tour schedule, route planning, and key milestones.
• Coordinate with federations, embassies, government entities, and venue teams.
• Oversee Public Events, Embassy Receptions, and official activities at each destination.
• Lead on-site setup, event delivery, team briefings, and operational readiness.
• Coordinate international travel, visas, customs documentation, accommodation, and ground transportation.
• Manage travel, security, and event production suppliers.
• Monitor budgets, supplier costs, and overall tour expenditure.
• Resolve last-minute operational challenges to ensure the tour remains on schedule.
• Lead the final trophy handover in Riyadh.

Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of proven experience managing international tours, roadshows, trophy tours, or major sporting events.
• Strong experience in multi-country logistics and travel coordination.
• Experience working with embassies, federations, government entities, and venue teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong operational and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience managing suppliers and budgets.
• Saudi Arabia or GCC experience is preferred.
• Arabic and English proficiency is preferred.
• PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.

Location and Work Type

This is a contract position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, requiring significant international travel to various tour destinations including Riyadh, Al Khobar, and Jeddah within Saudi Arabia, and other international cities.
