QA/QC Civil / Mech. / E&I

About the Role

Larsen & Toubro is seeking a QA/QC Civil / Mech. / E&I professional to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires an individual with 5-10 years of experience in quality assurance and quality control, focusing on civil, mechanical, and electrical & instrumentation aspects of projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify materials and mill test certificates, ensuring compliance with code and company requirements during IMIR clearance.
• Conduct welding procedure qualification tests and maintain Procedure Qualification Records (PQR) for structural, tank, and piping works.
• Prepare Welding Procedure Specifications and conduct Procedure Qualification tests on-site as required.
• Verify welding consumable Batch Test Certificates (BTCs) and perform necessary qualification tests on-site.
• Prepare Job Procedures and Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) for structural, piping, and tank works.
• Conduct periodical internal site audits.
• Visually inspect fit-up and welded joints for structural, tank, and piping works.
• Perform welding inspection, including surveillance checks before, during, and after welding.
• Conduct all Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) inspections and prepare associated inspection records.
• Coordinate with customers for day-to-day inspections.
• Prepare, review, and verify piping test packages on-site, and address pending activities.
• Manage NDT clearance for piping test packs.
• Witness hydrotests for tank and piping systems.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in QA/QC roles within civil, mechanical, or electrical & instrumentation disciplines, preferably in a project-based environment.
