About Dar Al Riyadh Consultants

Dar Al Riyadh Consultants is seeking an experienced QA/QC Inspection Engineer to join our team in Riyadh. This is a full-time position for a professional with over 10 years of experience in quality control within the construction sector.

Role Summary

The QA/QC Inspection Engineer will be responsible for monitoring, inspecting, and documenting construction activities to ensure strict compliance with project quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of quality control practices, construction materials, and relevant international standards, preferably gained within a Project Management Consultancy (PMC) environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and random inspections of site activities, materials, and installations to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and codes.
  • Review and verify Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, and material submittals.
  • Ensure that construction work meets required quality standards, specifications, and contractual obligations.
  • Monitor and document the quality performance of contractors and subcontractors.
  • Issue non-conformance reports (NCRs) and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
  • Maintain accurate records of all inspections, test results, and quality documentation.
  • Assist in material receiving inspections to confirm compliance with approved material submittals and technical specifications.
  • Participate in regular site audits and provide support during internal and external quality assessments.
  • Coordinate with QA/QC engineers, site engineers, and construction supervisors to resolve quality-related issues.
  • Prepare daily QC inspection reports and update the QC tracking system.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality control within the construction industry.
  • Solid knowledge of construction techniques, materials, codes, and quality assurance standards.
  • Familiarity with international standards such as ASTM, ACI, BS, and ISO 9001.

Required Skills

  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and test reports.
  • Strong documentation, observation, and communication skills.

Location and Work Type

This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
