Quality Assurance Engineer

About the Role

Emdad By Elm is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires a professional with 5-10 years of experience, particularly within the Fintech industry, focusing on billing and payment systems. The role demands the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the quality and reliability of systems and applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for various systems and applications.
• Test APIs to validate responses and ensure data integrity.
• Build and maintain automated test scripts to enhance efficiency.
• Write SQL queries to verify data accuracy within databases.
• Document and track bugs, collaborating closely with the development team for resolution.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure product quality before release.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of experience in Quality Assurance, with a focus on the Fintech industry.
• Demonstrated experience with billing and payment systems.
• Solid understanding of API and backend service testing methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with test automation, including backend services and API contracts.
• Experience with SOAP services, XML services, and third-party integrations.
• Good knowledge of the Finance domain.

Skills and Competencies

• Proficiency in writing SQL queries for data extraction and validation.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
