About SAMI Airbus and the Role

SAMI Airbus is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to join its team on a full-time basis in Al Kharj, Riyadh. This role is central to maintaining the integrity and effectiveness of the SAAMS Quality System within a dynamic aerospace environment.

Role Purpose

The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for overseeing the SAAMS Quality System, including the development of necessary manuals and procedures. This position also serves as a key liaison between the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) and SAAMS, acting as the Customer Support Team (CST) designee for all matters impacting the maintenance organization. All duties must adhere to the current revision of the Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE), Customer policies, and established Quality Safety policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise and support the Customer during A330 MRTT Fleet maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with RSAF procedures and international aviation standards through continuous monitoring and surveillance.
  • Ensure the integrity of the Quality System in strict adherence to official regulations, requirements, and airworthiness standards from authorities such as SAMI-Airbus, EASA, RSAF, FAA, GACA, and AS 9110.
  • Support the creation, development, review, and implementation of requirements for SAAMS to achieve Aerospace Standard AS 9110 certification.
  • Support internal investigations related to reported events and incidents.
  • Support internal and external audits as per the annual audit plan, and manage associated corrective actions.
  • Conduct physical and spot checks to ensure adherence to the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Advise, inspect, and monitor the work of technicians performing maintenance activities.
  • Support the control and follow-up of discrepancies and corrective actions for maintenance activities.
  • Oversee Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) Subcontractors.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of MRO processes and procedures, including the MOE, CAME, and internal operational guidelines.
  • Provide support to the Head of Quality and Safety in maintaining departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Serve as a member of the Quality Customer Support Team (CST) when engaging with RSAF authorities.

Required Experience

This role requires 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in quality assurance within an aviation maintenance or aerospace environment.
