About the Role
Hill International (Middle East) Limited is seeking a Quality Assurance Section Head (E2) for a full-time position in Riyadh. This role is critical for overseeing the implementation of project management systems to ensure compliance with corporate policies, international standards, and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
The Quality Assurance Section Head is responsible for monitoring the adherence of projects to the established Management System. This includes developing quality assurance plans through hazard analyses and procedure monitoring. The role may involve developing or modifying corporate procedures and creating project-specific Quality Plans as needed. A key function is to monitor the service provider's establishment of adequate QA programs, conducting audits to verify that products and services meet client specifications. Regular interaction with Project Directors, Area Managers, and other staff is expected to assess on-site activities. The position involves identifying and reporting quality issues or trends, supporting the implementation of corrective actions, and validating quality processes by defining product specifications and attributes. Input will be provided to management on project performance metrics and system improvements. Additionally, the role includes training and motivating employees to uphold quality standards and preparing comprehensive quality documentation and reports.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Management from an accredited university.
- A minimum of 20 years of professional experience, including experience as a quality manager for large-scale projects.
- Certification as a Lead Auditor.
- Broad knowledge of quality principles and tools, and their application across engineering, environmental, procurement, construction, testing, operations, or decommissioning.
- Understanding of corrective action application for nonconforming conditions.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements impacting quality programs and plans.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in verbal and written communication.
- Ability to provide clear direction and on-the-job training.
- Effective communication and interface skills with a diverse professional group.
Work Environment and Compliance
Employees are required to be aware of and ensure continued compliance with Hill International's Quality, Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals, and Procedures. This full-time role is based in Riyadh.
Additional Information
Other duties as assigned by the line manager or supervisor will be performed. Experience required is +10 years. Salary is not disclosed.
