AlKhalejiah is seeking a dedicated Quality Specialist to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is integral to executing quality and food safety inspection activities across all stages of operational processes. The specialist ensures that products and services consistently comply with regulatory standards and approved specifications, contributing to a strong culture of quality and an enhanced customer experience.

Core Operational Responsibilities

• Inspect raw materials immediately upon receipt from suppliers to verify compliance with approved specifications and promptly report any non-conforming items.
• Conduct accurate daily temperature checks in storage, preparation, cooking, and serving areas, ensuring all readings are documented and comply with ISO 22000 and HACCP food safety requirements.
• Perform routine inspection rounds across dining areas and production facilities to ensure cleanliness, equipment functionality, and proper tool usage, submitting field inspection reports to the concerned departments.
• Collect random samples of final products during or after production and conduct visual and sensory evaluations (QQC / Food Tasting) to ensure product quality prior to customer service.
• Monitor the implementation of daily cleaning and sanitization plans, ensure the readiness of related forms and records, and verify full compliance of operational teams with updated instructions.

Quality Management and Reporting

• Document all daily inspection results using approved digital or manual forms and submit them on time to the relevant department for follow-up and improvement actions.
• Coordinate with operations, service, and maintenance teams to resolve quality-related performance issues such as equipment breakdowns, spills, or service deficiencies, ensuring timely corrective actions.
• Investigate quality-related complaints received from customers or operational teams and prepare detailed reports including root cause analysis and proposed corrective actions.
• Actively participate in internal and external audit visits, provide technical support to auditors and regulatory bodies, and ensure the availability of all required documents and supporting records.
• Participate in preparing daily quality reports that include performance indicators, deviations, non-conformities, and improvement plans, and share them with relevant management.
• Review Critical Control Points (CCPs) in food operations, ensure regular documentation, and verify that actual readings comply with approved control standards.
• Provide technical recommendations and observations based on inspection data and analysis to support continuous improvement and enhance operational compliance.
• Support on-the-job training for new employees regarding quality and food safety standards, and raise awareness of organizational procedures and policies.
• Assist in implementing instructions and directives issued by Area Management or Senior Management related to quality and operational safety.
• Ensure full compliance with all policies and procedures outlined in the AKCC Integrated Management System, including ISO 9001, ISO 22000, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess 5-10 years of experience in quality control or assurance, with a strong background in food safety and operational compliance. Essential knowledge includes ISO 22000, HACCP, and familiarity with integrated management systems such as ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001.
