About the Release Manager Role

HCLTech is seeking a Release Manager to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires a professional with 5-10 years of experience to oversee the release management lifecycle, ensuring the integration of production and project aspects into cohesive solutions. The role focuses on coordinating resources, timelines, and process quality.

Core Responsibilities

The Release Manager will be responsible for the daily management of all build and release operations. Key duties include:

• Coordinating with stakeholders to ensure release services are synchronized.
• Overseeing the evaluation, authorization, planning, testing, deployment, and documentation of all releases.
• Establishing processes for service delivery and recording metrics to ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Prioritizing projects to meet business expectations without impacting ongoing operations.
• Coordinating with operations teams for the deployment of changes.
• Evaluating test results in development and pre-production environments before production launches.
• Governing the end-to-end release process for any changes throughout the lifecycle.
• Identifying potential risks and recommending appropriate resolutions from an operational perspective.
• Generating regular reports and performance metrics.
• Ensuring that release baseline, release notes, pre/post-deployment plans, and backout plans are in place.
• Acting as the owner for go-live releases, including coordination and communication with stakeholders.
• Managing DevOps release management processes.

Technical Proficiency

Proficiency in using JIRA and Service Now tools for release process management is required.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A minimum of 5 years and a maximum of 10 years of experience in release management.
• Experience with build and release management operations.
• Familiarity with DevOps release management principles.

Location and Eligibility

This role is based in Riyadh. Candidates must be Saudi nationals and preferably locally available in Saudi Arabia.
