About the Role

Master Works is seeking a Release Manager to join its team in the Riyadh Region. This full-time position is responsible for overseeing and coordinating software and application releases across various environments, ensuring they are executed efficiently and with minimal risk while meeting business and technical objectives.

Role Context and Responsibilities

The Release Manager will play a crucial role in the release lifecycle, managing the planning, coordination, and execution of application releases. This involves ensuring that all releases are delivered in a controlled and effective manner. The role requires close collaboration with various teams and stakeholders to maintain a smooth and predictable release process.

• Planning and coordinating application releases across multiple environments.
• Managing deployment schedules and maintaining release calendars.
• Ensuring adherence to proper change management processes, approvals, and communication protocols.
• Coordinating effectively between business stakeholders, development teams, infrastructure teams, and external vendors.
• Identifying and managing release risks, developing rollback plans, and overseeing production readiness activities.
• Monitoring post-release activities to ensure successful implementation and stability.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess a strong background in release and change management. The ideal applicant will have a proven track record of successfully managing software releases within complex environments.

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in release management, change management, or IT service delivery.
• A solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), DevOps principles, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices.
• Experience utilizing tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or Azure DevOps.
• An ITIL certification is preferred.
