About the Opportunity

Sphere Recruitment is partnering with a leading international Project Management Consultancy (PMC) to appoint a Retail Delivery Director. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and involves leading the delivery of a significant retail destination within one of the region's prominent giga-projects. The role focuses on establishing new benchmarks for mixed-use development and customer experience.

Role Summary

The Retail Delivery Director will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of a major retail asset. This involves leading multidisciplinary teams through various project phases, from design coordination and construction to tenant integration, fit-out, and handover. The Director will collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure that programme, quality, commercial, and operational objectives are met across a complex development.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of a major retail asset.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams across design coordination, construction, tenant integration, fit-out, and handover phases.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Ensure programme, quality, commercial, and operational objectives are achieved for the development.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Over 15 years of experience in delivering major retail, mixed-use, or destination developments.
• Demonstrated leadership experience within a Project Management Consultancy (PMC), developer, or Tier 1 contractor environment.
• Strong understanding of retail delivery processes, tenant coordination, and stakeholder management.
• Experience managing large multidisciplinary teams and complex project interfaces.
• Previous experience in the Middle East is required, with experience in Saudi Arabia considered advantageous.
• Degree qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
