About the Retail Director Role at Fendi

Fendi is seeking a Retail Director to lead its full-time retail operations across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Bahrain. Based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, this pivotal role is responsible for developing the Fendi business within these strategic markets.

Strategic Mission and Business Development

The core mission of the Retail Director is to proactively contribute to a significant transformation in the retail culture and enhance the "Top Store" approach throughout the network. This involves driving commercial growth and ensuring operational excellence across the designated region, aligning with Fendi's global standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement commercial action plans designed to grow the business.
• Manage all aspects of boutique operations, including staff, merchandise, and customer service.
• Monitor sales performance against established budgets and targets, taking necessary actions to achieve objectives.
• Communicate the company's vision, strategy, and clear direction to all retail staff.
• Structure the organization of retail activities and allocate responsibilities effectively.
• Ensure adequate staffing levels through strategic recruitment, rotation, mobility, training, and development initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with the Training and Visual Merchandising Departments to ensure proper sales staff training and appropriate product display.
• Propose layout adjustments as needed to optimize commercial efficiency within boutiques.
• Manage existing store network projects, including expansion, renovation, relocation, and closure.
• Participate in lease negotiations with landlords for retail spaces.
• Work in conjunction with the communication and events department to execute local brand events.
• Propose and effectively implement local marketing, customer relations, and VIP strategies to promote the Brand’s image.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for the Retail Director position must possess over 10 years of experience in retail management, ideally within the luxury sector. A proven track record in leading multi-market retail operations and driving commercial growth is required.
