About Fendi and the Role

Fendi is seeking a Retail Director to lead its retail operations across Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Bahrain. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and is central to developing the Fendi business within these key markets.

Role Overview

The Retail Director will be responsible for driving the strategic growth and operational excellence of Fendi's retail presence in the GCC. This involves proactively shaping the retail culture and enhancing the 'Top Store' approach throughout the network to ensure consistent brand representation and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement commercial action plans to achieve business growth objectives.
• Oversee boutique operations, including staff management, merchandise control, and ensuring high standards of customer service.
• Monitor sales performance against budgets and targets, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• Communicate the brand's vision, strategy, and clear direction to all retail staff.
• Structure retail activities and allocate responsibilities effectively across the organization.
• Ensure adequate staffing levels through strategic recruitment, rotation, mobility, training, and development initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with the Training and Visual Merchandising Departments to ensure proper sales staff training and appropriate product display.
• Propose and implement layout adjustments to optimize commercial efficiency within boutiques.
• Manage existing store network projects, including expansion, renovation, relocation, and closure.
• Participate in lease negotiations with landlords for retail spaces.
• Work with the communication and events department to execute local brand events.
• Propose and effectively implement local marketing, customer relations, and VIP strategies to promote Fendi's brand image.

Candidate Profile

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in retail management, with significant previous experience in the GCC countries.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the retail landscape and consumer behavior within GCC markets.
• Ability to maintain high personal image standards consistent with a luxury brand.

Work Type and Location

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, requiring leadership across the KSA, Kuwait, and Bahrain markets.
