About the Role

Hitachi Rail is seeking a Rolling Stock Technician to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves performing maintenance and modifications on various types of rolling stock. The role requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Rolling Stock Team Leader with preventive and corrective maintenance activities, as well as minor modifications on rolling stock, including passenger service vehicles, engineering support vehicles, shunting vehicles, and locomotives.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections, examine parts for surface defects, replace consumable items, perform minor repairs, and carry out technical cleaning.
• Perform time-sensitive fault diagnostics and component replacement, either on-site or within the depot.
• Execute duties as directed by the Rolling Stock Team Leader and other senior Rolling Stock Maintenance personnel.
• Implement and adhere to the Permit to Work process and LOTO procedures during maintenance activities.
• Carry out shift and emergency responsibilities as required.
• Perform wheel turning operations using an under-floor wheel lathe.
• Adhere to stringent maintenance schedules to ensure a safe system of work.
