The Role of Sales Coordinator

The Sales Coordinator will join our equipment rental team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to managing customer interactions, overseeing rental sales, and coordinating hire administration. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient fleet utilization, managing logistics, and providing comprehensive customer support for our B2B clients. A minimum of 10 years of experience is required for this position.

Customer Service and Sales Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for customers via phone, email, and online platforms.
• Handle equipment rental enquiries and understand customer requirements.
• Prepare, send, and follow up on quotations.
• Convert enquiries into confirmed hires and identify opportunities for extensions and additional equipment.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with B2B customers.

Hire Desk and Operational Coordination

• Manage the full on-hire and off-hire process.
• Monitor fleet availability and maximize equipment utilization.
• Coordinate deliveries, collections, and job-to-job transfers.
• Liaise with transport teams, external transport providers, and the workshop to ensure equipment is available and ready for hire.
• Coordinate Pre-Delivery Inspections and equipment preparation.
• Coordinate customer requests, delivery updates, and hire extensions.
• Manage breakdown reports and liaise with the engineering team for quick resolution.
• Keep customers updated throughout the process.

Administration and Compliance

• Maintain accurate hire, customer, and fleet records.
• Process rental documentation, invoices, damage/loss charges, and related paperwork.
• Ensure equipment meets required inspection, safety, and certification standards.
• Verify operator licenses/site cards where applicable.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

We are seeking an experienced professional with a proven track record in sales coordination and hire desk operations within the equipment rental sector. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills and a commitment to customer service and operational efficiency.

• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in a Hire Desk or Sales Coordinator role.
• Demonstrated ability to manage customer enquiries, rental sales, and hire administration.
• Proficiency in fleet coordination, logistics, and customer support.
• Strong attention to detail for maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance.
