The Role of Senior Business Development Engineer

Alsalam Aerospace Industries is seeking a Senior Business Development Engineer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on managing technical and commercial proposals within the aerospace and defense sector. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in end-to-end proposal management.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and integrate technical and business proposal content, including compliance responses, assumptions, and supporting documentation.
• Review RFPs/RFQs/SOWs to identify requirements, deliverables, evaluation criteria, constraints, risks, and clarification needs.
• Coordinate technical, pricing, commercial, and cross-functional inputs, and maintain compliance matrices, schedules, action trackers, and submission controls.
• Support solution development, proposal reviews, customer clarifications, presentations, and negotiations as required.
• Perform proposal quality and compliance checks, and support reusable content, templates, lessons learned, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

• Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience.
• Strong experience in managing technical and commercial proposals from end-to-end is required.
• Experience within the aerospace and defense sector is essential.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within the aerospace and defense industry.
