About the Role

DeepSource Technologies is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer for a 6-month project in Riyadh, KSA. This full-time role focuses on integrating development, security, and operations to ensure the construction and deployment of secure, reliable, and efficient systems and applications.

Role Overview

The Senior DevSecOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing DevSecOps practices. The primary objective is to achieve an optimal balance between operational efficiency and stringent cybersecurity requirements, guaranteeing the delivery of secure and high-performing systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines with integrated, automated security gates.
• Automate deployment, testing, and system monitoring processes using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and Azure DevOps.
• Integrate cybersecurity validation tools, including SAST/DAST and source code analysis, into the SDLC.
• Monitor cloud and hybrid infrastructure, ensuring alignment with security benchmarks and compliance standards.
• Manage containerized environments and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes and Docker.
• Contribute to and implement scalable Infrastructure as Code (IaC) strategies using tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Oversee system performance, track resource utilization, and ensure timely identification and remediation of security vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with software development, cybersecurity, and core infrastructure teams for seamless integration.
• Generate periodic operational reports on system health, security compliance, and deployment performance.
• Stay informed about emerging DevSecOps trends to continuously improve the ecosystem.

Performance Metrics

Key performance indicators will include continuous monitoring of software releases and deployment cycles, measurable optimization of automated pipelines, documentation of all infrastructure and application changes, and adherence to incident response and support resolution metrics as defined by the Service Level Agreement (SLA).

Qualifications and Experience

The role requires 2-5 years of relevant experience. A strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and practices is essential.
