About the Role

Royal Cyber KSA is seeking a DevOps Architect with extensive experience in core DevOps practices and advanced networking concepts. This full-time position is based in Riyadh and requires a minimum of 10 years of professional experience. The salary range for this role is $8,000 - $9,000.

Role Overview

The DevOps Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure. This includes developing end-to-end CI/CD ecosystems and leading DevOps transformation initiatives. The role demands deep hands-on experience with cloud platforms, automation, containerization, and enterprise-grade network architecture, with a specific emphasis on strong networking expertise to build robust cloud and CI/CD solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive the DevOps architecture roadmap in alignment with business objectives.
• Design and implement cloud-native and hybrid infrastructure solutions.
• Establish and enforce DevOps standards, governance, and best practices.
• Build and manage comprehensive end-to-end CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, and potentially CloudFormation or ARM.
• Drive automation initiatives using scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
• Implement and manage containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Integrate DevSecOps practices, including security and compliance controls, throughout the delivery pipeline.
• Architect cloud-native and hybrid infrastructure, and lead teams in architecture decisions and transformation initiatives.
• Focus on driving DevSecOps, observability, and reliability improvements.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in DevOps or related fields.
• Strong expertise in core DevOps practices.
• Advanced knowledge of networking concepts.
• Deep hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proven experience in automation, containerization, and enterprise-grade network architecture.
• Demonstrated ability to lead DevOps transformation initiatives in large-scale environments.
• Proficiency in Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• In-depth understanding of networking components including VPC/VNet, routing, VPN, Load Balancers, and firewalls.
• Strong scripting skills in Python and/or Bash, with robust troubleshooting capabilities.

Work Details

This is a full-time position located in Riyadh. The role offers a competitive salary ranging from $8,000 to $9,000.
