The Role: Senior Dry Utilities Engineer

ARX | Smart Minds is seeking a Senior Dry Utilities Engineer for its office in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires a deep understanding of dry utility networks, including power, telecommunications, and street lighting systems, within infrastructure projects. The role involves leading the design, planning, and oversight of these systems, ensuring compliance with local regulations and seamless integration with overall project designs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and oversee the design of dry utility systems for various infrastructure projects.
• Perform and review engineering calculations, network design, cable sizing, and other engineering analyses for dry utility systems.
• Ensure all dry utilities designs comply with local regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Coordinate with project managers and other engineering disciplines to integrate dry utility systems seamlessly into overall project designs.
• Coordinate utility corridors, crossings, connections, diversions, and interfaces with other infrastructure disciplines.
• Prepare detailed engineering reports, plans, and documentation.
• Review designs and technical deliverables prepared by engineers, designers, and the BIM/CAD team.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members.
• Liaise with government authorities, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure all project requirements are met.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in infrastructure projects.
• At least 3 years of experience working within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
• Demonstrated understanding of dry utility networks, including power, telecommunications, and street lighting systems.
