About the Role at Outdoor Factory MEA

Outdoor Factory MEA is seeking a Senior Human Resources Specialist to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves overseeing advanced HR functions, ensuring compliance with Saudi labor laws and regulatory platforms, and supporting strategic HR initiatives. The specialist will act as a key advisor to management and a mentor to junior HR staff, contributing to recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and organizational development.

HR Operations and Compliance

The Senior Human Resources Specialist will be responsible for ensuring robust HR operations and strict adherence to regulatory standards. Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring full compliance with Saudi Labor Law and expert use of government platforms such as Qiwa, Mudad, HRDF, and Muqeem.
  • Managing employee contracts, renewals, transfers, and terminations in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Overseeing visa processing, work permits, residency renewals, and coordinating with government relations.
  • Maintaining accurate HR records, personnel files, and payroll documentation aligned with local standards.

Talent Acquisition and Employee Lifecycle

This role leads talent acquisition efforts and manages various aspects of the employee lifecycle, including:

  • Leading end-to-end recruitment cycles, from sourcing and screening to arranging interviews.
  • Managing onboarding and orientation programs to ensure smooth integration of new hires.
  • Serving as a trusted advisor for employees and managers on HR policies and conflict resolution.
  • Handling disciplinary actions, investigations, and grievance procedures professionally.

Compensation, Benefits, and Reporting

The specialist will also contribute to compensation and benefits administration, alongside HR reporting and policy implementation:

  • Supporting payroll preparation, salary reviews, and allowance structures.
  • Ensuring accurate GOSI contributions, overtime calculations, and statutory benefits.
  • Preparing monthly HR dashboards, turnover reports, recruitment metrics, and workforce analytics.
  • Ensuring consistent application of HR policies across departments and locations.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should meet the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5–8 years of progressive HR experience, preferably gained in Saudi Arabia.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English.
  • Proficiency in HR systems such as ERP, HRIS, SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.

Essential Skills and Knowledge

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and knowledge:

  • Strong knowledge of Saudi Labor Law and processes related to GOSI, Qiwa, Mudad, and HRDF.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
