About the Role

EY is seeking a Senior Manager to join its Audit team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves leading complex audit engagements and supporting business growth. The role requires building and strengthening relationships with clients and internal teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality audit work. The Senior Manager will also be responsible for identifying and escalating risks, fostering a positive learning environment, and mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Manager, you will manage the end-to-end delivery of audit engagements. This includes defining the audit strategy in consultation with Associate Partners or Partners and executing it in accordance with Ernst & Young's policies and protocols. You will personally conduct complex audit procedures and lead teams or parts of teams on engagements, depending on their size. Additionally, you will assist in managing the financial aspects of engagements by organizing staffing, tracking fees, and communicating issues to project leaders. Participation in business development initiatives is also a key part of this role.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of nine years of professional experience in external audit.
• A strong academic record and a professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or CA.
• Experience working with a Big 4 accounting firm.

• Experience with risk-based audit processes.
• Demonstrated coaching, mentoring, and counselling experience.
• Experience working within the Middle East & North Africa (MENA) region.
• Proficiency in the Arabic language.
