About Alkhorayef Energy Systems and the Role

Alkhorayef Energy Systems, a division of Alkhorayef Industries Company, is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join its Engineering team. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, within the Second Industrial City, focusing on advanced mechanical engineering solutions.

Role Purpose and Scope

The Senior Mechanical Engineer will play a crucial role in mechanical design, product development, and engineering solutions within an industrial environment. This involves designing, analyzing, and improving mechanical systems and components. A key aspect of the role is ensuring manufacturability, cost efficiency, quality, and compliance with established engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze mechanical designs and evaluate project feasibility from engineering and manufacturing perspectives.
• Develop and modify 3D models, assemblies, and detailed manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Support product development and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Review designs to ensure material availability, safety requirements, manufacturing feasibility, and cost optimization.
• Prepare, review, and verify engineering drawings, technical documents, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Provide technical support to production, fabrication, and quality teams.
• Conduct technical assessments and site visits when required.
• Apply mechanical engineering principles and industry standards to develop effective engineering solutions.
• Review junior engineers’ work and provide technical guidance and support when needed.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical design and manufacturing industries.
• Strong experience using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Demonstrated experience in mechanical design, fabrication, and product development.
• Knowledge of ASTM International Standards.
• Ability to prepare manufacturing drawings and technical documentation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in energy systems, industrial equipment, manufacturing, or engineering projects.
• Experience working closely with production and quality teams.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position located at Alkhorayef Energy Systems in Riyadh, specifically within the Second Industrial City. The role involves working as part of a dedicated Engineering team, contributing to critical industrial projects.
