The Role: Senior OpenText ITOM Operations Engineer

BRAVANTIC is seeking a Senior OpenText ITOM Operations Engineer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on the operational management and enhancement of OpenText IT Operations Management (ITOM) suites, including NNMi, NA, APM, SiteScope, and the OPTIC Data Lake. The engineer will ensure the stability, performance, and compliance of critical IT infrastructure monitoring and management tools.

Core Responsibilities

• Manage the health, high-availability, and configuration baselines for OpenText NNMi, NA, APM, and SiteScope.
• Administer the OPTIC Data Lake and develop unified reporting pipelines using OpenText BVD or external Business Intelligence tools.
• Design and implement custom device discovery rules within NNMi, performance transactions in APM, and monitors in SiteScope.
• Develop automated configuration backups, compliance policies, and vulnerability remediation tasks using OpenText NA.
• Execute vendor updates, hotfixes, and system upgrades to maintain the security and modernity of the ITOM toolset.

Experience Requirements

Candidates for this Senior OpenText ITOM Operations Engineer position should possess 5 to 10 years of professional experience in IT operations, with a strong focus on OpenText ITOM solutions. This experience should include hands-on work with the tools specified in the responsibilities, demonstrating a proven track record in system administration, monitoring, and compliance.

Essential Technical Expertise

• Proficiency in OpenText Network Node Manager i (NNMi) for network monitoring and discovery.
• Expertise in OpenText Network Automation (NA) for configuration management, compliance, and vulnerability remediation.
• Experience with OpenText Application Performance Management (APM) for application performance monitoring.
• Competence in OpenText SiteScope for server and infrastructure monitoring.
• Solid understanding and administration skills for OpenText OPTIC Data Lake and reporting tools like OpenText BVD.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires on-site presence to support critical IT operations and collaborate effectively with local and regional teams.
