The Role of Senior Projects Manager

Havelock One Interiors is seeking a Senior Projects Manager to join its team in Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is based in Riyadh, though projects are located across the country, requiring flexibility and adaptability. The Senior Projects Manager is responsible for the overall planning, coordination, and control of fast-track fit-out projects from inception to completion. The primary objective is to deliver financially viable projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards, meeting client requirements for sectors such as Hospitality, Hotels, High-End Residential, Palaces, F&B, Retail, Entertainment, Health, and Education.

Key Responsibilities

• Pre-contract: Contribute to the creation and execution of business development strategies, research and build client relationships, attend industry functions, and supervise the tendering process.
• Project Planning: Identify stakeholders and plan communications, develop project management plans and schedules, define activities for all stakeholders, plan procurement, and identify and plan risk management.
• Project Execution: Specify project objectives and plans, including scope delineation, budgeting, scheduling, performance requirements, and subcontractor selection. Interface with the project team to ensure effective resource utilization. Implement operations through coordination and control of planning, design, estimating, contracting, and construction. Maintain accurate records, oversee construction sites, manage vendors and trades, and provide regular updates to stakeholders. Maintain client communication, direct and manage project execution, acquire and manage the project team, conduct procurement, distribute project information, perform quality assurance and control, manage local municipality and government approvals, verify and control scope and cost changes, control project invoicing and final accounting, and monitor and control risks.

Required Experience and Attributes

Candidates for the Senior Projects Manager position should possess over 10 years of relevant experience. The role requires a versatile individual with demonstrated experience, skills, and personal attributes suitable for managing complex fit-out projects across Saudi Arabia.
