About the Role

Technology Track, a professional ICT services company operating in the Middle East, is seeking a Senior SharePoint Developer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time, on-site position is integral to driving digital transformation initiatives through the design, development, and maintenance of SharePoint solutions. Role Overview

As a Senior SharePoint Developer, you will be responsible for building and improving SharePoint environments to effectively support business processes. This involves a proactive approach to gathering requirements, configuring complex systems, and developing custom solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing infrastructure. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is key, providing technical leadership and ensuring the scalability, security, and reliability of SharePoint platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain SharePoint solutions, including custom sites, workflows, and forms.
  • Develop integrations with other systems to support business processes.
  • Gather and analyze business requirements to translate them into technical specifications and user-focused SharePoint solutions.
  • Configure and customize SharePoint environments using tools such as SharePoint Designer and InfoPath.
  • Build custom SharePoint components, integrations, and extensions using C#, .NET, JavaScript, and REST APIs.
  • Administer SharePoint farms and sites, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Monitor SharePoint farm performance and implement necessary optimizations.
  • Manage user permissions and access controls within SharePoint environments.
  • Ensure the scalability and reliability of SharePoint solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver effective SharePoint solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members and end-users.
  • Document SharePoint solutions, configurations, and processes.
  • Support end users through troubleshooting, enhancements, and training.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Strong expertise in SharePoint and SharePoint Administration, including site collections, permissions, workflows, and governance.
  • Hands-on experience with SharePoint Designer and InfoPath for building and customizing forms, workflows, and business process solutions.
  • Solid Software Development skills, including C#, .NET, JavaScript, and REST APIs, for creating custom SharePoint components, integrations, and extensions.
  • Proven experience designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise SharePoint environments in both on-premises and/or cloud (SharePoint Online) setups.
  • Ability to gather and translate business requirements into technical specifications and user-focused SharePoint solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills in complex SharePoint ecosystems.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders on-site.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Additional Skills and Experience

Experience with Microsoft 365, Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps), and related collaboration tools is considered an advantage.
