About the Role

LEO MEA (Middle East & Africa) is seeking a Senior Video Editor to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position offers the opportunity to be an early adopter in pioneering new processes and strategies for content creation, particularly leveraging Generative AI tools.

Role Overview

The Senior Video Editor will be responsible for creating and editing videos using a combination of traditional techniques and Generative AI tools. The role involves producing novel and unique visual content that brings brand storytelling and experiences to life across various communication touchpoints. Candidates should be comfortable exploring creative applications of AI in video production.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a thorough understanding of client requirements to guide them through the creative process.
• Edit, design, and animate video content, integrating Generative AI tools with traditional editing methods.
• Deliver visual photographic storyboards.
• Collaborate with team members to brainstorm ideas and create successful video content using Generative AI tools.
• Produce demos based on provided reference materials.
• Create mood boards and project animatics to outline creative thinking and inspire the final edit.
• Ensure seamless alignment between audio and video, with a focus on sound design and the overall energy of the edit.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 4 years of professional video editing experience.
• Strong working knowledge of current editing styles across diverse platforms, from traditional broadcast to social media.
• Proficiency in the latest version of the Adobe Creative Suite.
• Proficient knowledge of After Effects.
• Experience with various design styles, including photorealistic and highly stylized videos.
• Experience with sound design.
• Arabic language proficiency is required.

Generative AI and Portfolio Requirements

• A strong interest in Generative AI solutions for video creation, such as Runway and D-ID, is essential.
• Awareness of alternative Generative AI solutions is expected.
• Candidates must provide a portfolio showcasing their editing, animation, and motion graphics talents.

Work Context

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The role requires 5-10 years of experience. The company is LEO MEA (Middle East & Africa).
