ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) Developer

About the Role

LanceSoft Middle East is seeking a ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) Developer for a contract position in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role involves designing, configuring, and maintaining the ServiceNow SPM suite to align corporate strategy with daily operational execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and customize core SPM modules, including Demand Management, Project Portfolio Management (PPM), Resource & Capacity Planning, Financial Planning (budgeting, cost plans, and forecasting), and Strategic Planning (roadmaps, scenario planning, and investment funding).
• Develop business rules, client scripts, UI policies, Flow Designer flows, and script includes to automate portfolio processes.
• Build and maintain data schemas, transform maps, import sets, and API integrations (REST/SOAP, Integration Hub) to link SPM with external HR, finance, and agile execution tools.
• Configure performance analytics, KPIs, executive dashboards, and scoring/prioritization models for upper management.
• Translate complex business requests from PMOs, enterprise architects, and leadership into technical designs and scalable out-of-the-box (OOTB) solutions.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Typically 3 to 7+ years of hands-on technical development experience on the ServiceNow platform.
• Focused specialization in SPM/PPM workflows.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API (GlideRecord, GlideSystem, GlideAjax).
• Strong understanding of platform fundamentals: Flow Designer, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Import Sets, and Update Sets.

Methodologies

• Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum delivery models.
• Familiarity with ITIL frameworks.
