Job Description

The Shift Leader will assist and support the Supervisor and Assistant Boutique Manager in ensuring guests’ satisfaction, whilst supporting the Boutique Staff in the delivery of outstanding customer service.

The incumbent will be entrusted with handling guest enquiries as well as familiarizing with the company’s computer systems.

·        Boutique Readiness & Compliance, Assist in setting up the boutique for operation prior to opening, support the FOH Team in opening and closing processes, and ensure full compliance with all statutory and legal requirements including health and safety, fire, licensing and food handling.

·        Standards & Brand Knowledge, Maintain a thorough understanding of LAP and Al Ghalia's brand philosophy and operations, performing all duties in line with Standard Operating Policies and Procedures to maximize guest satisfaction.

·        Guest Service & Order Management, Handle guest enquiries courteously and efficiently, assist with bespoke cake orders, identify and process orders in the system, meet all service timelines, and notify the Supervisor and/or Chef of any special requests.

·        Upselling & Product Knowledge, Possess full product knowledge to assist with correspondence, order taking and quantity estimations, and lead by example by actively upselling menu items and offering suitable alternatives when needed.

·        Workplace & Equipment Upkeep, Ensure the boutique and surrounding areas are kept clean and organized at all times, and report any furniture, fixture or equipment deficiencies to the Supervisor or MOD for action.

·        Inventory & Cash Operations, Check opening and closing inventory stock of displayed items as required, and assist the Cashier with any end-of-day report enquiries.

·        Team Conduct & Appearance, Report for duty punctually in the correct uniform, adhere to grooming and hygiene standards at all times, and contribute to a positive, respectful and inclusive work atmosphere.

·        Reporting & Briefings, Assist in preparing points for daily briefings and support the Supervisor in compiling and reporting guest and/or employee incident reports when required.

Additional Duties, Any other tasks as assigned by the Supervisor or SBU's Manager. 


Requirements

  • GOSI Registration Required or Sponsorship Transfer
  • Requires 2-5 Years experience
  • Intermediate in English
