About the Smart Home Project Manager Role
SSC is seeking an experienced Smart Home Project Manager to lead and oversee the successful execution of smart home projects. This full-time role requires comprehensive management of projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, effective cross-functional coordination, and the maintenance of high-quality standards for all smart home installations and solutions.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the end-to-end execution of smart home projects, from initial planning through final delivery.
- Coordinate effectively with internal teams, external contractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure seamless project implementation.
- Develop detailed project plans, establish realistic timelines, manage budgets, and define resource allocation strategies.
- Ensure all projects are completed on schedule, within the defined scope, and adhere to budgetary constraints.
- Monitor project progress closely, identifying and proactively resolving any issues or potential delays.
- Oversee the installation, integration, and commissioning phases of smart home systems.
- Verify compliance with all relevant technical standards, quality requirements, and client expectations.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain clear and organized documentation for all project activities and prepare comprehensive reports.
- Provide regular updates and performance reports to senior management.
Experience and Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in project management, specifically within the smart home industry.
- Proven prior experience in managing smart home systems or similar technology-based projects is essential.
- Experience working within the GCC region is preferred.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and execution frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and successfully deliver large-scale technical projects.
