SOC Manager

About the Role

Accelerec is seeking a highly experienced and motivated SOC Manager to lead its Security Operations Center in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time, permanent position that involves safeguarding the organization's digital assets and developing its cybersecurity posture. The role requires 5-10 years of experience in a relevant field.

Role Purpose

The SOC Manager will be responsible for directing the daily operations of the Security Operations Center. This includes ensuring continuous monitoring, effective incident response, and leading a team of SOC analysts. The role also involves driving proactive threat detection and response initiatives within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and manage the day-to-day operations of the Security Operations Center (SOC), ensuring continuous monitoring and effective incident response.
• Develop, implement, and refine SOC processes, playbooks, and procedures for incident detection, analysis, containment, eradication, and recovery.
• Lead and mentor a team of SOC analysts, fostering their professional development and ensuring high performance.
• Oversee the effective utilization and optimization of SIEM platforms (*, Splunk, QRadar, ELK Stack) for advanced threat detection and analysis.
• Drive proactive threat hunting initiatives to identify and neutralize sophisticated threats before they impact the organization.
• Manage and enhance vulnerability management programs to identify and remediate security weaknesses across the enterprise.
• Collaborate with security architecture and engineering teams to ensure the implementation of robust security controls for network, endpoint, and cloud environments.

Experience and Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in security operations or a related cybersecurity field.
• Demonstrated experience in leading and mentoring security teams.
• Proficiency with SIEM platforms such as Splunk, QRadar, or ELK Stack.
• Experience in developing and implementing SOC processes and incident response procedures.
