About the Role

Cisco Saudi Arabia is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join its Solutions Engineering team, focusing on the Public Sector in Riyadh. This full-time role involves contributing to Saudi Arabia's digital transformation and mega-projects by designing innovative solutions. The position is part of the KSA Sales organization and emphasizes collaboration, trust, and technical excellence to deliver outcomes for customers and communities.

Role Impact and Context

As a Solutions Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping technology strategies for Public Sector clients. Operating in a pre-sales capacity, you will work closely with Account Managers to develop tailored, business-driven solutions. A core responsibility is to articulate the financial and strategic value of Cisco’s portfolio, translating business needs into technology outcomes. This position aims to establish Cisco as a trusted advisor to government and enterprise stakeholders in Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver technical presentations to clients.
• Lead proof-of-concepts for proposed solutions.
• Design architectures that showcase Cisco’s innovation across networking, security, cloud, and automation domains.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in pre-sales, solution design, or systems engineering.
• Deep expertise in Cisco technologies or equivalent competitor solutions.
• Strong understanding of networking, security, data center, and cloud domains.
• Proven experience engaging with enterprise or public-sector clients.

Preferred Skills

• Advanced knowledge in SD-WAN, ACI, DNA, SASE, AI, Cloud, Automation, and Digital Transformation.
• Experience with AI/ML, Cloud-Native applications, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Familiarity with MLOps, AIOps, and programming/scripting capabilities.
• Strong understanding of Cisco technologies and architecture, with proven cross-architecture experience to translate client objectives into comprehensive solutions across Cisco’s full portfolio.
• Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences, coupled with strong executive-level communication skills.
• Solid experience engaging directly with customers, applying consultative selling techniques, understanding financial pain points, and aligning solutions with customer business models to drive value realization and adoption.
