About the Role

IGA Talent Solutions is partnering with a global investment group to recruit for their expanding Insurance Solutions team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role offers an actuarial professional the opportunity to transition into a commercial, buy-side position focused on capital optimization, investment structuring, and providing institutional investor solutions across emerging markets. The position allows for the application of actuarial expertise to investment strategy, portfolio construction, and insurance capital solutions within a leading emerging markets investment platform, with direct exposure to investors, deal structuring, and global markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility for risk-based capital and regulatory capital modeling for insurance-backed investment strategies.
• Provide support for asset-liability management (ALM) analysis, including duration matching, liquidity considerations, and balance-sheet optimization.
• Collaborate with investment, structuring, and risk teams to evaluate capital efficiency and portfolio suitability for insurer and reinsurer investors.
• Contribute to investor engagement and marketing discussions with insurance-sector Limited Partners (LPs) as a technical subject-matter expert on capital and regulatory matters.
• Assist in the development of innovative insurance-focused investment structures across private credit and broader alternative investment strategies.
• Play a role in stress testing, scenario analysis, and portfolio oversight, influencing investment decisions from a capital and solvency perspective.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Qualified or near-qualified actuary (*, IFoA, SOA, or equivalent).
• Experience within the insurance, reinsurance, actuarial consulting, or insurance-focused asset management sectors.
• A strong interest in applying actuarial expertise within a commercial and investment-led environment.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both investors and non-actuarial stakeholders.
