About the Role

TASNEE is seeking a Specialist II, Procurement to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position reports directly to the Manager, Procurement Operation DS. The primary objective of this role is to conduct comprehensive MRO & Consumables procurement data analysis to enhance departmental efficiency, productivity, quality, and savings. The specialist will also participate in sourcing, tendering, and administration activities for diverse MRO contracts, ensuring alignment with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide analytical support by analyzing data related to market trends, vendor and supply management, and procurement status to inform decision-making.
  • Report departmental savings to management on a regular basis.
  • Assist in identifying potential new suppliers using existing Tasnee databases and market research.
  • Monitor supplier conformance with contracts to maintain supplier quality.
  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and end-users to achieve the most competitive costs and timely delivery for purchased items.
  • Contribute to the preparation, processing, and compilation of Requests for Proposal (RFQs/RFPs) to invite suppliers to submit proposals aligned with internal customer requirements.
  • Review bids from Tenders and RFPs, and jointly with end-user departments, conduct analysis and make initial recommendations for appropriate spend levels.
  • Monitor contract terms and conditions and coordinate the approval of amendments as required.

System Automation and Data Management

This role actively contributes to system automation efforts by establishing outline agreements in SAP to cover a maximum number of MRO items under release orders. The specialist will also participate in material management and data cleansing projects to ensure data quality and maintain up-to-date information.

  • Capture clear ticket notes and simple reports (SLA, FCR, CSAT).

Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration

The Specialist II, Procurement serves as a liaison between the company and vendors, involving sourcing, negotiating contracts, and presenting agreements to decision-makers for finalization. This role requires effective communication with vendors, internal customers, and other relevant parties to facilitate information exchange and feedback for procurement processes.

  • Frequently contact senior employees in other departments to review, discuss, and resolve issues related to Procurement and Support Services activities.
  • Develop, manage, and evaluate relationships with other departments.
  • Participate in cross-functional and multi-functional teams such as Project Management, Process Improvement, and TQM.
  • Maintain confidentiality and business ethics.

Qualifications and Experience

  • University graduate from any discipline or a diploma holder.
  • 2 – 4 years of relevant experience.

Technical Skills

  • Ability to troubleshoot common issues on PCs/laptops/printers and M365 (Outlook/Teams).

Requirements

  • Requires 2-5 Years experience
