About Get Smart Medical and the Role
Get Smart Medical is seeking a qualified and passionate Speech Language Pathologist to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves assessing, diagnosing, and providing individualized speech and language therapy programs. The role focuses on supporting children and individuals experiencing communication and language difficulties.
Role Purpose
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the communication and language skills of clients within a professional clinical environment. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to client development and grow within a supportive multidisciplinary team dedicated to high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's needs.
- Provide individual and group speech and language therapy sessions.
- Address difficulties related to speech, language, articulation, fluency, voice, and overall communication.
- Monitor clients' progress and modify treatment plans as required.
- Prepare accurate clinical reports and maintain updated patient records.
- Collaborate effectively with psychologists, ABA therapists, occupational therapists, and other multidisciplinary team members.
- Communicate with parents and caregivers, providing appropriate guidance and recommendations.
- Maintain professional and ethical standards across all clinical practices.
- Participate in case discussions, team meetings, and continuous professional development activities.
- Ensure compliance with the center's clinical policies, procedures, and quality standards.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology / Speech and Language Therapy or a related field.
- Valid professional classification and registration with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
- Previous experience in a clinical or rehabilitation setting is preferred.
- Experience working with children and individuals with developmental or communication disorders is highly preferred.
Required Skills and Attributes
- Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent English language skills are required.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to professional ethics, patient confidentiality, and high-quality clinical care.
