Sr. Project Management Engineer S/ HANA

About the Role

Alfanar is seeking a Sr. Project Management Engineer S/ HANA to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves planning, coordinating, and monitoring assigned projects from initiation through completion, ensuring all project aspects are managed effectively in accordance with approved objectives and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, schedules, milestones, resources, and deliverables.
• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Coordinate project activities across internal departments, business units, and external service providers.
• Monitor project execution against approved schedules and facilitate project meetings, tracking actions and decisions.
• Identify and manage project risks, delays, dependencies, and resource constraints, developing and following up on mitigation plans.
• Coordinate testing and validation activities to ensure solutions meet approved requirements, and manage issue resolution before implementation.
• Oversee implementation and project handover activities, ensuring all approvals, documentation, and acceptance criteria are met for project closure.
• Prepare and maintain essential project documentation, including plans, schedules, meeting records, risk registers, and status reports.
• Review project outcomes, document lessons learned, and identify opportunities for process improvement in project management practices.

General Accountabilities

• Maintain updated soft and technical skills relevant to the job.
• Perform planned activities to meet operational and development targets within delivery schedules, utilizing resources effectively.
• Address problems as they arise and escalate complex operational issues to management.
• Ensure adherence to quality requirements, developing effective quality control processes.
• Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, and procedures, seeking automation opportunities.
• Comply with all related policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in project management.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires a proactive approach to project management within a dynamic corporate setting.
