Sr. Customer Portfolio Manager CS

About the Role

GE Vernova is seeking a Sr. Customer Portfolio Manager CS to join their team in Riyadh, Riyadh. This full-time role involves demonstrating accountability for project management, planning, and coordinating activities within production or services projects to fulfill customer orders or needs. The manager will ensure projects adhere to financial and commercial parameters while maintaining customer satisfaction.

Guided by professional practices and policies, the Sr. Customer Portfolio Manager CS operates with moderate autonomy, requiring high levels of operational judgment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all contract performance-related activities, typically tied to a customer site, acting as the interface between the customer and the project team for information and request transfer.
• Oversee Services, Parts, and Repair Services, including planning, execution, requests for quotes, pacing, scheduling, follow-up, fulfillment, and proactive risk mitigation of contract obligations.
• Ensure timely resolution of issues, keep customers informed of project progress, and negotiate changes, variations, and solutions to any arising issues.
• Be responsible for adherence to contract service, operations, and performance specifications, as well as financial and technical metrics specific to the contract.
• Perform proposal negotiation and contract administration functions on assigned proposals/contracts with minimal supervision.
• Provide support to managers and senior contracts personnel on assigned contracts, functioning as the liaison for the customer on contract matters.
• Lead functional teams or projects with minimal resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity, acting as a resource/mentor for less experienced colleagues.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of relevant experience.
• Developing specialized knowledge in the discipline, serving as a best practice/quality resource.
• Awareness of the latest technical developments in the field.
• In-depth knowledge of best practices/lessons learned and how the area integrates with others.
• Working knowledge of competition and differentiating market factors.
• Ability to use judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems in operational/product management, manufacturing, technology, or engineering.
• Capability to take new perspectives on existing solutions and use technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations.

Skills and Competencies

• Ability to contribute towards strategy and policy development and ensure delivery within the area of responsibility.
• Proficiency in explaining difficult or sensitive information and working to build consensus.
• Developing persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within the field.
