About the Role
Lenovo is seeking a Senior Solutions & Services Executive to drive growth within the sports industry in Saudi Arabia. This full-time position, based in Riyadh, requires a candidate with 5-10 years of experience to focus on new business development and expanding Lenovo's presence across various sports organizations.
Role Objectives and Scope
The primary objective of this role is to position Lenovo as a strategic technology partner for sports organizations. The executive will leverage offerings such as Hybrid Cloud, AI, Edge, and TruScale (as-a-service) to deliver solutions that align with the digital transformation goals of clients in the sports sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new business opportunities within sports ministries, government authorities, national and regional sports federations, professional clubs and leagues, esports organizations, and sports & entertainment venues.
- Develop a robust pipeline of significant opportunities focused on solutions and services, particularly consumption-based models.
- Drive strategic account penetration and expand Lenovo's footprint across the sports ecosystem in KSA.
- Implement and manage the 'OneLenovo' engagement strategy for the sports vertical.
- Collaborate with channel partners, ISVs, and ecosystem players to accelerate deal closure.
- Represent Lenovo at key industry events and platforms relevant to sports and technology.
- Lead consultative sales engagements with C-level stakeholders, focusing on value-based solutions.
- Present Lenovo's portfolio, including Hybrid Cloud, AI/GPU solutions, Smart Venues, IoT, Edge computing, and TruScale services.
- Translate customer business needs into outcome-driven solutions addressing fan experience, operational efficiency, revenue growth, and sustainability.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from opportunity identification through to closure.
- Develop financial models and business cases, including TCO, ROI, and Opex vs Capex analysis.
- Coordinate with internal teams to structure contracts, SLAs, and commercial agreements.
- Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline visibility, and CRM discipline.
- Establish trusted advisor relationships with executive stakeholders to foster long-term partnerships and account growth.
Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in enterprise sales, business development, or solution selling within the IT/services sector.
- A proven track record of successfully closing large, complex, multi-million-dollar deals.
- Experience or background in the sports, media, entertainment, or public sector is highly preferred.
- A strong understanding of Hybrid Cloud & Software Defined Infrastructure, AI/ML workloads and GPU-based solutions, Edge computing, IoT, and smart venue technologies.
