Sr. Tendering Engineer Protection and Control Systems

About the Role

Alfanar Projects is seeking a Sr. Tendering Engineer - Protection and Control Systems to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role focuses on managing sales inquiries, preparing accurate quotations, and coordinating various project activities to ensure efficient execution and overall project success. The position requires 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and process sales inquiries, ensuring completeness and clarity of requirements.
• Prepare accurate and timely technical and commercial quotations, ensuring alignment with customer specifications and internal standards.
• Execute tendering activities from inquiry to submission within defined timelines.
• Analyze requirements and develop compliant and optimized proposals.
• Support prequalification and documentation requirements as needed.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, planning, and sales teams to gather required inputs and ensure alignment for cohesive and competitive offers.
• Facilitate smooth communication to support timely decision-making.
• Support coordination of activities related to awarded projects to ensure continuity from tender to execution.
• Address technical clarifications and follow up on quotations and orders.
• Maintain accurate records of quotations, assumptions, and communications.
• Ensure adherence to company procedures, standards, and quality requirements.

Accountabilities and Performance

• Continuously update soft and technical skills relevant to the job.
• Perform planned activities to meet operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
• Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
• Provide periodic reports detailing deviations and execution of planned tasks.
• Solve related problems and escalate complex operational issues as necessary.
• Ensure quality requirements are met, developing effective quality control and processes, including specifications for products or activities.
• Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automation opportunities.
• Comply with relevant policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within the defined area of work activity.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to manage sales inquiries and prepare technical and commercial quotations.
• Experience in tendering execution and proposal development.
• Strong coordination and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
