We are looking for passionate Sterilization Technicians who will play a crucial role in our healthcare facilities.

Job Summary:
As a Sterilization Technician, you will be responsible for the decontamination, sterilization, and distribution of medical instruments, equipment, and supplies. Your expertise will ensure that our surgical instruments and medical devices are cleaned, packaged, sterilized, and stored in accordance with established protocols.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Receive and decontaminate soiled surgical instruments and equipment from clinical areas.
  • Operate automated cleaning and sterilization equipment, ensuring proper function and performance.
  • Inspect cleaned instruments for damage and report issues to supervisors.
  • Assemble instrument sets and procedure packs according to established protocols.
  • Prepare instruments for sterilization following manufacturer recommendations.
  • Monitor sterilization cycles and document parameters for compliance.
  • Maintain accurate records of processing activities and equipment maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with storage and inventory control protocols.

Qualifications:
  • CSSD Technology Diploma from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
  • Registry Eligible Status.

Job Purpose / Objective
Responsible for routine and basic technical tasks in the Central Sterile Supply Department (CSSD) with strict adherence to JCIA/ CBAHI standards, including documentation, sterilization, packaging, storage, and distribution of sterile items, as well as receiving all contaminated used items from assigned areas.

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years working experience in a similar specialty.
  • Certification: Saudi Council License required.
  • Skills: Infection control and equipment management.
