About the Internship Opportunity

Raytheon Saudi Arabia, a subsidiary of RTX, is offering an internship opportunity within its Supply Chain team in Riyadh. This internship is designed for students pursuing Supply Chain studies who are looking to gain practical experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The role provides exposure to material planning, supplier data coordination, and cross-functional collaboration within the aerospace and defense sector.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

The Supply Chain Intern will engage in various activities, working closely with functional partners and leadership. The internship focuses on providing hands-on exposure to key supply chain operations. Interns are expected to take initiative and engage in self-directed learning within a supportive team setting to achieve common objectives. Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the evaluation of supplier capabilities and development plans, and tracking their effectiveness.
• Assisting in the analysis of supplier base data to identify market trends and business needs using data analysis and reporting tools.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including procurement and quality, to improve supplier engagement.
• Participating in supplier meetings, tracking action plans, and ensuring follow-up on development initiatives.
• Assisting in the assessment of supplier risks and contributing to the development of mitigation strategies.

Learning and Development

This internship offers a structured learning experience over three months:

• First Month: Focus on developing communication skills through team meetings and stakeholder interaction, and understanding the fundamentals of material planning, demand management, and supplier data tracking. Shadowing senior staff will provide insight into daily issue resolution.
• Second Month: Involves updating the regional supplier database, learning to extract Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) from dashboards, identifying material bottlenecks, and preparing risk summaries. Hands-on experience with data visualization tools like Power BI or Excel will be provided.
• Third Month: Interns will be assigned a small project to apply learned skills and contribute tangible outcomes to the team.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program with an emphasis in supply chain, engineering, business administration, or a related field.
• A minimum GPA of out of or out of is required.
• An official university letter must be attached to the CV.
• Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively across diverse organizations and teams.
• Proficiency in both Arabic and English, encompassing written and oral communication.

This is a full-time internship position located at the Raytheon office in Riyadh. The internship duration is designed to provide comprehensive exposure to supply chain operations within a limited timeframe, suitable for students with 0-1 years of experience.
