The Role: Systems Engineer

Azeus Systems Limited is seeking a Systems Engineer to join its growing support team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves designing and implementing systems architectures to ensure robust security frameworks for Azeus Convene. The position requires leading and coordinating with systems administrators and project team members to manage system configurations and maintain cost-effective, efficient hardware and software solutions that meet project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will undergo intensive on-the-job training and mentoring to prepare for the following responsibilities:

• Set up servers with hardening and firewall policies between servers.
• Implement applications developed by Azeus in various cloud environments (AWS, Azure, KSA cloud, etc.).
• Lead the implementation of Azeus applications at client premises, including server and application software hardening and firewall policy setup.
• Identify and analyze system integration problems.
• Resolve server issues by identifying root causes and implementing immediate remedial actions.
• Formulate and implement corrective actions to prevent problem re-occurrence.
• Formulate and implement preventive actions to avoid future issues.
• Identify recurrent tasks and recommend tools for automation.
• Provide on-call support for critical cases.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in a systems engineering or similar role.
